Topcon RE Super 35mm SLR 1960s - Exakta Mount - Body Cap - Great Shape
Cosmetic Condition
:
Exhibits no major scuffs, scratches, marks.
There is a notable dent to the body next to the film advance lever on the top rear right corner, but it does not affect the operation of the camera in any way I can tell.
Optical Condition
:
The viewfinder is free of any fog/haze, scratches, fungus or separation.
There is some dust in the viewfinder but it should not affect viewing/focusing.
I do not have a lens for this camera so I cannot 100% perfectly check its focusing ability.
Mechanical Condition
:
The shutter speeds appear to be accurate at all settings when compared to my several other mechanical cameras such as a Minolta SRT-101, Nikon F2, and Leica M3.
The mirror flips up and out of the way and back down into position without any discernable lag or sticking and appears to be operating properly.
The aperture actuation lever moves freely with the shutter and mirror when the release button is pressed.
The light meter responds to light when a battery is inserted into the camera, but I cannot test its accuracy without a compatible lens on hand.
Overall the camera appears to be in proper operating condition to the extent that I am able to test it.
